What is it that made Ahmed a better second language learner than Ali since both of them got the same treatment from the teacher?

The answer to this question always brings to the surface the issue of individual differences which are considered as factors affecting the second language acquisition. These differences are as follows: age, motivation, learning styles, personality types, etc.
